Bentonville sits at the center of the OZ Trails network — one connected system running through Bentonville, Bella Vista, and beyond. Every trail below links straight to its official map.

🚴 Your Trail: Tristan's Trail

Steps from the door · Blue, beginner-friendly connector

This is the one that starts at the property line. A short, flowy connector inside the Slaughter Pen system — roll out of the garage, drop onto Tristan's, and you're in the network. No car, no trailhead parking, no drive.

🌳 Slaughter Pen — Bentonville's Home Trail

30+ miles · Beginner to advanced · Downtown Bentonville

Singletrack running alongside the paved Razorback Greenway, starting at Compton Gardens. Built in phases for every skill level, with standout features like The Castle (a stone-and-iron gravity hub), a dedicated skills park, and the Masterpiece Trail. Downtown Bentonville — restaurants, coffee, Crystal Bridges — is a few minutes away.

⛰ Coler Mountain Bike Preserve

20 miles · Intermediate to advanced · West of downtown

300 acres built for riders who want jump lines, technical rock, and gap jumps — not just cross-country miles. Grab a coffee or a beer at Airship, the trailside micro-cafe, before or after your ride.

🚆 OZ Trails Bike Park — Now Open

20+ miles of lift-served descents · All levels · Bentonville/Bella Vista line

Arkansas's first chairlift-served bike park. A high-speed quad lift hauls you and your bike uphill so you can lap gravity trail — beginner runs through double black diamond — without pedaling back up. Restaurant, beer garden, and rental shop on site.

🌊 Blowing Springs

~6-mile loop · Mixed difficulty · Bella Vista

A scenic loop connecting Bentonville to Bella Vista, with cliffs, caves, a spring-fed waterfall, and a 30-foot bridge dropping off a rock shelf. The ledgy terrain gets genuinely technical in spots, but there's plenty for every level — and it's the gateway into the bigger Back 40 system.

⛰ Back 40 / Wonderland

40 miles, 21-mile loop · Intermediate to advanced · East Bella Vista

Interconnected trail circling the east side of Bella Vista, anchored by a 21-mile loop. Grinding climbs, fast descents, and The Ledges — a section that winds through karst limestone formations. Built for a longer, more remote-feeling day.

🍪 Little Sugar

40 miles · Intermediate to advanced · West Bella Vista

More climbing per mile than anywhere else in the region — plus waterfalls, caves, and ten-foot pipe tunnels along the way. Unlike Back 40, it's built to ride well even after rain.
