Crystal Bridges is already a good reason to visit Bentonville. This winter it has two more. Keith Haring in 3D runs through January 25, 2027, and Grandma Moses: A Good Day's Work opened September 12 and stays through March 29, 2027. According to the museum, an adult ticket is $15 (free for members, veterans, SNAP participants, and anyone 25 and under), and one ticket covers both exhibitions. Check the museum's site for current pricing before you go.
Pick your dates around the Haring deadline
Grandma Moses has until late March, but Keith Haring in 3D leaves on January 25, a Monday. If you want both on one trip, plan it before the end of January. After that, it's Grandma Moses and the rest of the collection, which is still plenty for a weekend.
Hours worth knowing before you book
The museum is open Monday and Wednesday from 11 to 6, Thursday and Friday from 11 to 8, and Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 6. It is closed on Tuesdays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Parking in the attached garage is free, and the trails and grounds stay open from sunrise to sunset, so you can walk the grounds even when the galleries are closed. Full details are on the museum's visit page.
If you're coming in November or December
The City of Bentonville's Lighting of the Square is Saturday, November 21, from 5 to 8 PM, and the Bentonville Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 12, at 6 PM sharp. Downtown Bentonville's events page has the latest details, so check it before you plan around them. Pair either one with a museum day earlier in the weekend, keeping in mind that Crystal Bridges is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
A simple weekend plan
Arrive Friday and take advantage of the late hours, since the museum stays open until 8 on Fridays. Spend Saturday morning in the galleries when the doors open at 10, then head downtown to the Bentonville Square, about 2.5 miles from the house, for the afternoon. Save Sunday for the museum grounds and, if the weather cooperates, a walk or ride on the trails near the house.
Why stay here
Oakwood Oasis is about 3.5 miles from Crystal Bridges, with a light-filled kitchen, a king bedroom and a queen bedroom, two baths, a garage, and self check-in. The wooded yard behind the house has deer most mornings, which makes for a slow, quiet breakfast before a museum day. Details are on the Amenities page.
Booking
Check dates on the Rates page and book on the Book page. Booking direct here is priced lower than the same dates on Airbnb. If you are also a rider, our 3-day mountain bike weekend guide fits neatly around a museum day.
Bye Bye Now.
