Arkansas has six home football games left in 2026, and five of them are the kind that empty every hotel in Fayetteville by Thursday. If you're driving in for a Razorback weekend and the rates near campus have already climbed past reasonable, here's the case for staying about 30 miles up I-49 in Bentonville, and what you actually give up by doing it.

All home games are at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. Kickoff times for the later games get set a week or two out, so check the official schedule before you lock in travel.

- September 26 vs. Tulsa 🌻 7 PM. Non-conference, lighter draw, easier to find a room.
- October 10 vs. Tennessee 🌻 afternoon or evening flex window, time announced closer to the date.
- October 31 vs. Missouri 🌻 Halloween in Fayetteville, flex window.
- November 14 vs. South Carolina 🌻 flex window.
- November 28 vs. LSU 🌻 early kickoff, Thanksgiving weekend. Book this one first.
What game day looks like from Bentonville
The drive is about 30 miles straight down I-49, roughly 35 to 40 minutes on a normal day. On a game day it's longer, so leave early, treat the drive as part of the tailgate, and plan your parking before you go (the Razorbacks' gameday page covers lots and shuttles). What you get in exchange is a Friday night and a Sunday morning that don't happen in the middle of the scrum.
The honest part: you will not walk to the stadium, and you will not stumble home from Dickson Street. If that's the weekend you want, stay in Fayetteville and pay for it. If you'd rather have a quiet house, a real kitchen, and a garage, keep reading.

Which weekends to book first
Georgia and LSU are the two that will be hardest to find lodging for anywhere in Northwest Arkansas, and LSU lands on Thanksgiving weekend, which adds family travel on top of football travel. Tennessee on October 10 is the next one to watch. Tulsa is the easy weekend if you just want to see a game in Fayetteville without the fight.
